“We could always have ended up in your nightmare, Shale, and encountered a giant pigeon instead of the Archdemon. Would that have pleased you more?”
“I would have enjoyed fighting it more.”

Adrian should have been the main character. Rhys and Evangline's relationship was forced and gross. Wouldn't know grey morality if it smacked one in the face.

Somehow, Asunder managed to balance action with politics and social issues in a way where you never got bored. Of all the Dragon Age books, this one came closest to showing the true expanse of the world of Thedas. Very exciting and full of drama. I can't wait for the next game in the series, and to see how the book will tie into that.

This was a pretty good book. The characterization was a little weak and the moral dillemna fairly "black and white," but it added lots of interesting lore for fans of the games and was a solid read.
