The first story, The Ash Mouth Man, is one of the most affecting I've ever read. 5+ stars for that. The others were good as well, but that one is the standout for me. Love Warren - have read every book of hers I've been able to find here in The States or online for a reasonable cost.

An enjoyable and diverse collection.

My favourite stories were probably Fresh Young Widow, Doll Money, The Grinding House, Bone Dog, Polish and The Gaze Dogs of Nine Waterfall.
