I actually really liked it! And Sloane and Xavier are so good for eachother the character development👌 but for me the change was too fast like one minute he was a huge party boy (kind of like a child I am sorry) and then he was business like. I like his childish side and their playful attitude but I still have some questions left unanswered... But I loved to see Xavier build his business and to see so many characters from the other books!!! Even got to see Alex♡♡♡

I love this one so much! I love the complex emotions and how they were handled. The character arcs were satisfying and the plot fine enough.

this one is my favorite in the series so far!
I really liked Sloane and Xavier's relationship! their dynamic and their chemistry was truly on point and it gave me some very soft vibes of the power we were accostumed to from the Twisted series. I think their build up was very well done and organic and I absolutely loved seeing them discover themselves and each other.
even the other little side plots were very sweet and cute and just augmented my enjoyment for the book! the part with the fish, the family issues on both parts, the mysterious green eyes… I don't know, I just loved the attention to detail in this one and it made me really excited for the next ones to come… also, I truly wish that one day I get to visit that famous library because my oh my… it sure has something! xD
anyway this was a great book, I was very pleasently surprised and I woulkd 100% recommend it.

A cute read but despite my live for Ms Huangs books I found myself struggling to get through this one.  I have no idea why. The characters and plot were interesting if not predictable but also loveable. I can only sa  I'm a huge mood reader and all her other books were 5 star reads for me. This one, slowed me down a bit.

I LOVED this book. I connect with the FMC so much and found her very relatable. It was so nice having the MMC genuinely be a good guy throughout the book, and even his early pitfalls were really because he cared too much.
Ironically, the book is a little clichĂ© which the FMC would, on her own, rip to pieces, but I loved that bit of irony.
I also love how Ana Huang references characters from her other books as little Easter eggs, and those lovable characters are still around for us to enjoy.
