This was a bit of an odd book for me. I was on a bit of a Greek mythology kick so I decided to pick this up, which I bought at the British Museum. It's a collection of a few myths, but they are told as a sub story - part of the book also describes children being told these myths. I really enjoyed the actual telling of the myths and I was glad to see a few myths that I don't hear as much about. However, the separate story felt a bit odd to me and I don't see why it was needed - I'd just rather read the myths, personally. However, I do realise that this is a children's book, which might make the myths more accessible for someone younger.
