I love Andrew Rannells, so I was very excited when I won a copy of his book. His memoir is a look into his life as a struggling actor who eventually found his way to glory. The stories in this book are quirky, fun and very gay. It was a joy to read and I hope he writes another in the future.
4.5! I listened to this book right after I listened to his newer book and I actually liked this one just slightly better but both were so so so great. Andrew is SUCH a great writer and storyteller! This is another audiobook/memoir that feels like riding around in your car with a fun and funny friend. His stories are vulnerable and honest, funny and sweet. If you were ever a theater kid, you'll find a lot to love here. Highly recommend it, and I suggest reading this one first and the newer one after. A delight!
I LOVE him and thought this memoir was delightful! It only takes us up until his first job on Broadway (Hairspray), so you learn all about where he came from and his personal and career struggles. He's a great storyteller and delivers it perfectly in the audiobook. I can't wait to read another one about his career someday.

Didn’t take itself too seriously, just a very light read overall
