just suddenly didn’t care how the story ended and lost all interest which is strange because i did like the first book

"Neexistuje živá duše – dokonce ani mezi božstvy –, která by neměla ráda dobrý příběh."

Nadaná vypravěčka Serilda musí s přadlákem zlata zlomit kletbu, která váže jejich duše k hradu. Erlkönig se chystá vyslovit přání a přivést zpět na zemi obávanou lovkyni, před kterou by nikdo nebyl v bezpečí.

Pokračování Zlaté vyšlo od jejího vydání poměrně brzy, takže jsem ani neměla šanci toho moc zapomenout a v klidu se mohla ponořit do temného fantasy světa o jednom zapomenutém princi, mlynářově dceři a Králi duchů.

Do Prokleté jsem se bez problému ihned začetla a nemohla se odtrhnout. První díl je pro mě srdcová záležitost a ráda bych řekla, že mám z druhé knihy stejný pocit, ale našlo se pár míst, které nebyly tak záživné a v těch chvílích mi čtení šlo hodně pomalu.

Marissa Meyerová stále dokazuje, proč je právě ona královnou retellingů a celkově na duologii nedám dopustit. Pokud se ale do tohoto převyprávění o Rampelníkovi pustíte, nečekejte mnoho akce a příběh, který by vám nějak rychle odsýpal. Naopak si pomalu vychutnávejte styl vyprávění, zaměřte se na postavy a pochmurnou atmosféru, která vás bude provázet až do konce.

I adored the children and I am glad for the ending but the story was so slow paced and I found the pregnancy stuff kind of ick

I just love Marissa Meyer. I found myself at times thinking "that's so cheesy" while also feeling like I needed to stay up until midnight to finish it.
