I have not read this book cover to cover, but it is one of my favorite books on prayer. Gire has put together a wonderful collection of materials from all over the Christian world. Every time I pick it up, I find something new to read or I find two pieces juxtaposed that I would not have put together.

I wish I had my own copy. Someday...
