Okay, something actually happened in this one that made me like this. As much as I hated first two books, this one I liked. And I would've liked it even more if this was an actual ending. But as I said earlier, I'm not that lucky.
I was suspicious about the Other Power from the start. Watching TV show had helped though :) But I'm not sure what's going to happen next. I mean, Elena's dead, right? Is she going to return from the dead, or something? Because that would be stupid. But alas, I'll read it. After I came this far I don't see why shouldn't I.
I still don't like Stefan and Elena. And I never will. Damon is another story though. And I hope that he and Stefan managed to overcome their problems at last. And I totally ship Matt and Bonnie even though I think she's a airhead most of the time. Matt deserves someone who won't use him like Elena did. And Alaric and Meredith... I wonder how's that going to work out.
So I'm going to say goodbye to this book and start next one. Just hope that it won't be as cheesy as I expect it would be...

Elena ya me cae del todo bien y sus amigos me parecen geniales. Parece que necesitaban un buen trauma para conseguirlo. Caroline me sigue cayendo de culo, pero es lógico, por otra parte. En esta ocasión Elena tiene que hacer que los dos hermanos dejen a un lado sus diferencias y colaboren, tarea titánica. Además, Bonnie empieza a desarrollar sus poderes. Meredith sigue tan misteriosa como siempre (la verdad es que sospeché de ella) y el pueblo empieza a organizarse para cazar vampiros, porque sospechan. Un personaje que toma fuerza es el de Alaric, no diré nada sobre él porque os chafaría el libro, aunque debo decir que creo que hay un desfase de fechas que me ha chirriado un poco.
La historia me gusta muchísimo, va rápido y mantiene la intriga en todo momento, además de estar muy bien escrita.

estoy llorando; cuando comencé estas crónicas nunca imaginé que fuese a gustarme tanto, incluso aunque batallé para acabarme los dos primeros libros. no recuerdo cuándo fue la última vez que sentí necesario puntuar, bajo mi perspectiva, con cinco estrellas algún libro y ha llegado el momento. hasta ahora elena es de mis personajes favoritos, seguida por damon. stefan es un buenazo, pero todo mi amor va dirigido a elena y damon. ni hablar de bonnie, ¿podemos hacer mención de su valentía?
I really wish this series was better, but too bad it isn't. It is predictable and ridiculous. I continued to hope (through 3 books) that it was going to get good, but then, when it should have gotten good, it just didn't.

I didn't cry and I wasn't even a little disappointed when someone dies at the end. I was just glad this dumb book was over.

These books are getting better but that ending had me gasping! On book 3?!?! Out of 13?!?!

Can’t believe I actually gave this book more than 2 stars. But this one wasn’t that bad, and I finally finished it quickly.
I really needed to step up my game with reading because in spring I got into a huge slump but I think I’m getting out of it. Definitely not by this book but still.
Back to the book…
So I’ve read the second book around 2 months ago so obviously I didn’t remember anything about what happened in that one except the ending.
But I didn’t got back on track as quickly as I did before.
So here’s the thing. Elena girl, I keep questioning your decisions. Like this love triangle thing with Damon and Stefan? Where did that come from?
I was and I still am really confused about that.
And here’s my biggest problem with this book. The only thing that happened throughout half of the book was basically 3 conversations, and that’s it and I hated that. But after that people started getting involved in the drama that was happening and I honestly kinda liked that.
The ending was great (okay not that great I was a bit confused at some parts but still). I mean i don’t get why did they have to put Katherine in the book for like basically 2 chapters but okay I guess.
In the end I think this wasn’t that bad as the other two books, I just wish the series would’ve ended with this book, because this is clearly the perfect ending to me.

The Elena here, is so-not-a-selfish-ass-b*tch. Katherine, the villian, was unpredictable. Wow It is a really good series for everyone who is into vampires.

I'm... not even sure what to say. I just finished this book and I was not expecting the ending. I have one more book I own now, so I guess I'm gonna read it, but I feel like the story is over??? This ending was pretty closed.
