While painfully predictable, this is probably the best book in the series so far. Pacing was a bit more consistent and Elena was almost bearable. Unfortunately, it felt more like a plot requirement than actual character growth. Also, she died, and that made me happy, though I’m sure she won’t stay that way. There are over a dozen books in this series after all.

My least favorite out of the series so far. I just couldn't get into the plot of this book, it felt all over the place. But I still liked it because 10 minutes of reading and you learn 20 new things about the story.

I don't know. Maybe I am just not in the mood or something. But I am finding these to be drrraaaaggggiiiinnnngggg on. In total, the four books run over 1000 pages. I am pretty certain 400 would have been great.

But: on-ward to #4, because the tv show is piling up on my DVR and refuse to start watching it until I finish the books!
