MAN, this book is phenomenal. Truth be told, literary fiction & I have not been getting along recently, and this book single-handedly convinced me not to give up on it just yet.

The writing is INCREDIBLE. The depictions of grief & depression were so raw and consuming, but it was PERFECTLY balanced out with comedy & friendship, keeping it from becoming too bleak.

Truly amazing, highly recommend!

I feel there should have been a trigger warning for this book - some of the themes were a lot deeper than I expected when looking at the blurb/all the marketing for this book.
Even so, I did enjoy this book. The characters were well thought out, and the storyline was good in the end.
