fell to my knees at the end of this chapter, such raw emotions leading up to it my heart was heavy and my mind was done. the spirit of god himself was the only thing that kept me reading. cried for so long when we got to what happened in the next volume but i could already guess and the tears were ready to come down. touma, my bae, my love, U WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED BY ME

Yeah, I told myself I wouldn’t do this but after this volume I’m all aboard the Taichi and Toma train. There’s no stopping it now. I know it probably won’t happen but I'm a sucker for childhood-friends-to-lovers so what do you do? The cause of this is because Taichi and Toma had a wonderful heart to heart moment that finally solidified my love for them and only them. Because they’re childhood friends they just get each other and I’m more drawn to that then whatever Futaba and Taichi have going on. If only I enjoyed unrequited love too then I wouldn’t have to worry about being disappointed.

Toma and Taichi weren’t the only ones to have a heart to heart though. Futaba talks her feelings out with Toma. Toma and Masumi discuss their feelings for their friends again. Futaba discusses her recent epiphany with Taichi. So except for Futaba and Masumi each pair had a moment. I really wish there was more Futaba/Masumi content.

Overall it was a good volume. I felt like all the characters got an equal amount of attention. Near the end the four of them go to a fireworks festival to celebrate Taichi’s birthday and I’m weak to a good fireworks festival scene, though it admittedly didn’t go in the direction I was hoping it would based on the cover. These manga covers have really been tricking me lately.
