What a beautiful story. I loved how both Brady and Lilah are independent but need a little more. They each complement one another. I love how raw Jill Shalvis made Lilah's emotions when it came to returning animals. I know how it feels, and Jill did a perfect job describing the emotions so well. I can't wait to start on book two.

OMG I loved this!!!!

Animal Magnetism begins when Lilah runs into the new guy in town Brady Miller. The first impression isn't exactly the greatest. But they each have a strong attraction to the other. And when Lilah realizes who Brady really is, and what he's doing in town, she thinks they can have a little fun for the month he will be in town. She never expected to fall for him, but that's what happens. And Brady doesn't know how to have roots any where. He's use to living on the fly, but when Lilah turns his world upside down things get a little crazy for him.

This book was really good. I enjoyed the sweet plot line, and loved all of the characters. I really loved Brady and Lilah together. They were both honest with each other, and open about how they felt and what they wanted. It was really nice to see a couple like this. Then add in all of the awesome side characters, and of course the cute animals and it turns this sweet romance into a major funny one as well!

4.5 stars. This book was short and sweet and I loved it. I think the only thing I had a problem with was that the relationship seemed almost too easy in th end. Still, it was a fun and light read that I had a hard time putting down, which says everything about why I loved it and will be continuing the series.

The story of Lilah, co-owner of Sunshine's kennel whose life is a busy mess, and Brady, a pilot who has never set down roots.

Finally succumbing to his foster brothers' nagging, Brady visits Sunshine, where he unexpectedly meets Lilah and the sparks start flying. Lilah and Brady are exact opposites in many ways, chief among them the ties the keep in their lives: Lilah tries to keep everyone close, while Brady keeps everyone at a distance.

Determined to explore the attraction between them, Lilah proposes a fling with no strings attached, knowing that his time there will be limited. Brady agrees, but is surprised by the fact that their arrangement doesn't seem to work for him. He finds himself wanting more and thinking that perhaps setting roots somewhere might not be such a bad thing after all.

A very sweet, angst free romance about two people who suit each other perfectly.

I look forward to Jade and Dell's story next in [b:Animal Attraction|10600127|Animal Attraction (Animal Magnetism, #2)|Jill Shalvis|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1440984194i/10600127._SY75_.jpg|21496747].

Rumor Has It (Animal Magnetism #4) ~ ★★★★ (16/11/2015) (*read out of order)

Was a fun book. A little slow paced. I enjoyed the Lucky Harbor series from the start more. Still not a bad contemporary romance.

Animal Magnetism is my first time reading a book by Jill Shalvis. It is the love story of Lilah and Brandy; they are real characters. Lilah is a relatable heroine who loves junk food, animals and is a little klutzy. At the same time, Brandy is a hero who is loyal, hardworking, and kind. He seems tough and thorny on the exterior, but he so quickly gave in to the cuteness of an abandoned dog.
There were times I laughed out loud, and there were times I got irritated with the stubbornness of both the main characters. Lilah wants to show the world that she can manage to do everything by herself, and by asking for help, she will show weakness. Brandy fears that he is not willing to open up not to his foster-brothers or even to the person he falls in love with.
I am interested in reading Jill Shalvis's other books; I will continue with the series because I want to see Adam & Dell and their love interest stories.

Brady Miller is a walking sexdream and does not need anybody. He is only in Sunshine, Odaho, because his brothers had been nagging him to come.
But when Lilah literally crashes with his car he is in for something else. There is something about her that makes him want something different. But will she be the one to save him from his life of not needing anybody or will she break his heart?
