This book was literally life changing. When I read this book for the first time back in fifth grade, I had no idea what it would mean for me and my identity and I can't imagine my life without this book. This is the best book in the series undoubtedly and honestly I cry a little bit thinking about it. Perfection.

This might be my favorite one yet in this series. (It's a tie with Son of Neptune.) This one really rolled back all the lame character undevelopment in the last one (Mark of Athena).
Frank finally had a personality again, Leo wasn't annoying, and even Coach Hedge developed.
I think it worked well that Annabeth and Percy had a separate storyline from the others. It allowed for everyone to have more significant screentime and not fall into background characters.

Truly adored Bob and Damasen.

The scene with Jason & Nico where Nico confesses his crush on Percy was heartwrenching and beautiful and powerful.

That was a ride, and one I was more than happy to take. After the ending  of Mark Of Athena I was so anxious to pick up this book. It did not disappoint. It was thrilling to say the least, and it even had me looking up the Greek/Roman tales involved in the story. A great book from start to finish.
