— though nowhere near the level of daisy jones & the six and the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, this was phenomenal!
as usual, taylor jenkins reid managed to make me both care AND cry about the silly little lives of some silly little fictional celebrities… as she should tbh

I LOOOOOVED this audiobook! No one quite tells a story like TJR. Her stories feel so real, they're not always beautiful stories, and there were parts in this book that were so ugly it made me nauseous, but I can't help loving it anyways.

She's an excellent story teller and hasn't disappointed me yet!

I love Reid's writing. Her stories don't read like fiction. The characters are vivid and the plot wild but true. She's the best historical fiction writer I've read. Malibu Rising, though I could have done without the little side stories, was fantastic.

I loved this book. Maybe my first 5 star this year. I loved the Riva family. Some of the stories of the people at the party were a little boring just because I thought they took away from the focus but loved it overall for sure.
