Beautiful story about finding love while still struggling to love yourself. I truly loved that he incorporates so much French in the book, it was fun learning new words!

Just beautiful. You feel sucked into the vortex of David and Giovanni’s fast, dark, depression-romance. David’s internalized homophobia was the most interesting part of this book to me—and all the euphemisms he used for homosexuality and sex throughout his narration. His shame is palpable. But so is the tenderness and affection he feels for Giovanni.
