I don’t know how I feel about this book !
In parts it’s genuinely snortingly funny. The mother character is a stone cold masterpiece. But. Seriously conflicted about the Jimmy character. He is presented as someone to love and laugh at because he has “slow learning”. Once I felt uncomfortable about that I couldn’t get over it.

I loved this book! It was very funny and light-hearted but it also had a lot of serious topics that were discussed too. I loved all of the characters and all of their quirks. I know it’s a good book when I feel like I’m going to miss reading about them!
