”I don’t want to lose a single thread
from the intricate brocade of this happiness.
I want to remember everything.
Which is why I’m lying awake, sleepy
but not sleepy enough to give it up.”

I preferred the first half entitled ‘the journey’ over the other section called ‘love.’ But all good.

I tried to savor this collection as long as possible, still it ended too early. I loved so many of these poems.

Truly enjoyed this one especially that all is written is quick and fleeting! Like my attention span.
Felicity is the favorite wallet kept for wonderful memories and great readings. My favorites were 'Leaves and Blossoms Along the Way', 'Don't Worry', 'Moments', 'Storage', 'I Know Someone', 'How Do I Love You?', 'Everything That Was Broken', 'Not Anyone Who Says', 'I Have Just Said', and the gold one--'The Gift'.
I am surely to seek Mary Oliver's writing soon. A 4/5 read!

A wonderful light read, smooth writing, interesting point of view on the regular aspects of life twisted into reflections on love, loss and the mundane.

definitely weak compared to her other poetry. her strongest work focuses on the natural world, and many of her love poems were contingent on the reader's experiences rather than evoking their own emotive response. I hate making this comparison, but her love poems reminded me of rupi kauer in their depth.
