I enjoyed Addie’s transformation and Beckett’s journey back to family and regular life.
It was a heartfelt story that I identified with on a personal level.
I think attention was paid to the outskirts of society, etc.
It was sweet, steamy and it had really beautiful moments.
It was solid, small town romance with likable characters and storyline.
Liked it, I wanted to love it. It wasn’t a favorite for me, I’ve loved the previous books. This one lacked the wow factor for me unfortunately.

really, really enjoyed this. the returning prodigal son is one of my favourite storylines.

would've preferred if both characters could have healed from their trauma's seperately.

Another perfect addition to an addicting series! The Tattered and Torn series is such an accurate name for the characters we get to read about—their pasts are all very much tattered and torn and they have been so deserving of their HEA’s.

I’ve been so excited to get more of Addie and this book delivered! She’s been a really intriguing character to me since we first got to meet her and I was thrilled to finally get her story as well as her love story.

I think I will be forever wanting more of Beckett! I’m not sure if it’s the doctor thing or if it was because he was so great with Addie sensing her past, but he really is something.

The audio is dual narration by Ava Erickson and Sebastian York and done so incredibly well! They both did such a great job giving each character their voice.

I’m always left ready to binge the rest in the series and bummed when I realize I’ve got to find my chill because the next books haven’t been released yet. This book is no exception.
