This was an okay book. I thought I would give it a chance since I love the movie that has Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson in it. This is one of the times when the movie is better than the book.

3.5 Stars - a fun little adventure though I would like to do some geological research afterwards. This is better than Conan Doyle's 'Lost World'. It was fun to rewatch the 1959 'Journey to the Center of the Earth' after reading to compare and contrast too. Would recommend if you have a few spare hours and enjoy Classic adventure tales.
