This book was sincerely magical and creative.

TMI but I was reading this with my air conditioner turned on at the highest speed so, I got to kinda feel the weather setting in the book lmaoo.

Moving on to the book, the writing is gorgeous, the characters are incredibly complex (the kind that I absolutely love), the worldbuilding was very confusing but I managed it in the end, and it can be hard to guess where the plot is going but it is all interesting, nevertheless. I would say that the build-up isn't that consistent—it feels too fast-paced yet too draggy at times BUT it doesn't really affect my reading experience with the expressive and concise writing.

A really solid start to a trilogy and I can't wait to read the next book!
