Well, I guess I shouldn't have expected much from a free e-book. The characters were as bland and lacking in uniqueness as their cookie-cutter super-white names (Maddy? Jake? This is the third romance I've read lately in which the male love interest is named Jake. Give it a break, please). The plot tries really hard to be deeper than it is--Maddy struggles with a family legacy of failed romances!--but doesn't mask the fact that Maddy and Jake had about as much chemistry as--again--sugar cookies with no frosting. I suppose I should be amused at the fact that such a truly formulaic book was published, but considering how popular these books are, as well as the fact that I did finish it, hoping all the time that it would get better, it's not that amusing or surprising.

This is a good, entertaining story. However the data describing the book is not accurate.

Great story, hot sex, and quite funny - parts of it made me laugh out loud!

Another book I picked up free for the Kindle. It was good enough that would have paid to download a copy. Sure the story was predictable, but it was still fun to read and right now I'm looking for something that won't tax my brain too much and this fit the bill.

I can't remember the last time I read a Harlequin romance and maybe their Blaze series was not the place to start. Not that I didn't enjoy Leslie Kelly's book. It held my interest and kept me reading.

However, I know that the Harlequins I read as a teenager were not this hot. If you like hot, fast-paced books, this is definitely for you.

Downloaded this as a free e-book from Kobo last week, just to have something quick to read on my phone. I did enjoy reading it but I'm not sure if I would have paid for it.

I can now say that I've read a Harlequin Romance. Some of it was okay - but it was a Harlequin Romance.

The story starts off with a bit of a mix up and then some mistaken identity.

As storylines go, it's not incredibly new or interesting but the story was cute.

I liked the main characters and whilst the story was predictable it was filled with enough fluff and whatnot to make it an enjoyable read.
