“Dr.John Baxter received news of the fire the moment he arrived at St. Anne’s Hospital that afternoon.”

This was a reread for me but I adored it as much as the first time. I love the Baxter family but Ashely and Landon have always been my favorite and lets not forget Irvel! If you are looking for a book about christians going through doubt and hard times I highly recommend this series.

This book has so many touching moments & I enjoyed reading another book in this series. I don't normally enjoy books with so many bible verses but this was really good!

I really find this book so relatable. As someone from a Christian family myself who somehow became a "black sheep" at one point in time and found it difficult to remember that God loves me still in spite of my mistakes, this book really touched my soul.

When you're a Christian from birth people have such high expectations from you that the more you try to achieve, the more it will trample you down into making mistakes. And these mistakes will make you think that you do not deserve to be loved anymore, because of your conservative upbringing. But God is a merciful God. He does not tolerate sin but He has a soft heart for His child's repentance.

This book made me appreciate even more the love of God and the second chance at life that He gave me.
