This book was another great addition to the Lucy Valentine Series. I can't wait to read more about Lucy and her escapades. There aren't enough words to describe how much I love this series. I highly recommend it!

The Valentines are back and stirring up more trouble in Heather Webber's latest instalment in the Lucy Valentine mysteries.

Lucy and her family have always had special talents: her dad and brother can read auras, which help them in their matchmaking business. However following a lightning strike as a child, Lucy has a different talent: she finds lost objects. She uses this talent in her business, Lost Loves, to find missing people. Working with other psychics on a cold case (looking for an abducted little girl), Lucy is working hard trying to solve this case, while at the same trying to figure out the arsonist who is targeting her close friends and family.

This series is the first I read by Heather Webber, and it is one of my firm favorites. I like how it takes the traditional cozy mystery and spins it around a bit, with the unique addition of the psychic powers that Lucy has.

Lucy and her family always keep me amused, and in Perfectly Matched there is a lot going on with Lucy and her friends and family. I've loved following these characters from the first book (Truly, Madly). It was great to see some happy endings, and some development with the characters I've grown to love.

I can't recommend the Lucy Valentine mysteries enough. They have a little of everything for everyone with romance, intrigue, mystery and paranormal elements. I definitely recommend starting with Truly, Madly, because you are going to want to read all of them!!

Heather Webber has done it again and even better than the first three books in this favorite-of-mine series. It’s a paranormal mystery with more than a hint of romance and I don’t ‘do’ romance as a rule. I make exceptions for some authors and series, this is one of them.

Lucy is working with a team of other Boston psychics, each one with a different ability, to work on her own abilities. She wants to work out the hinks in her ability to find lost objects, she’d like to get better and stronger at it. She really doesn’t like this team of oddballs, but is willing to give it a try for the greater good.

There’s also a serial arsonist that makes the story darker than the previous three books. The who-dunnit at the end was startling and believable, my favorite kind.
There are other neat little side stories going on. One with Lucy’s bestest buds, one with her brother and Lucy’s exasperating news reporter friend, and, of course, with Lucy’s beau, private investigator Sean Donahue. The reader gets more backstory on Sean and his brother Sam, made me wish to get inside the book and give them hugs for all that they’ve been through.

So very glad I have a Nook and could read this story as soon as it came out, which was on e-reader format before print version came out. An exceptionally fast read for me, perfect for the nightstand which is where the Nook stays. Made for highly intriguing dreams as I read the story.

This fast-paced installment of the Lucy Valentine series revolves around an arsonist terrorizing Boston, and a mysterious man who can communicate with a cat. After so many heavy books on my trip, I needed to read something really light and enjoyable, and this hit the spot. I love how the relationships between all the characters grow stronger and more complex with each book. Yay for good ensemble casts!

One of my all time favorite series! I couldn't put it down! Heather Webber has a writing style that makes you feel like you are right there with Lucy and Sean, hunting for the beantown burner!

Loved it. Great read. Hooks you right from the start and never lets go. I hate cliff hangers...but this IS definitely the way to do one. Meaning it wasn't extortion to buy new book. It is a new story. Definitely recommend this book. Going to have to re think what I read next...

These are crazy fast reads, even faster than the Sookie Stackhouse books. In this one there's an arsonist, plot holes aplenty, and numerous jarring "shouldn't an editor have helped with that?" points, AND YET.
