Holy shit this book was an absolute delight from beginning to end. Coming into this book I honestly wasn't expecting much but oh my god I was absolutely blown away. Even though it's slow-paced, the writing is incredibly engaging and I loved all of the characters. Everything unfolded in a way that was extremely exciting and overall I just had a great time reading this.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s about friendship, an interesting quest -and it had that mystical feeling. I believe that anything can happen in Henrietta. The magic felt like anything is possible. Also ley lines??? ghosts?? old and forgotten kings??  A group of friends on a quest?? So interesting!! 

Def found family trope. The gang is ofc lovable characters, all very different from each other. and you can feel how deeply they cared for each other. And even though there weren’t that much character development, I can imagine that happening in the next few books. 

Also. Another lovable gang: the sargent household!!!! What an interesting family. they were funny, powerful characters and I hope that they will play an important part in the rest of the books.
