Bonito arte, en verdad.
La historia, de momento, es la misma, con un prólogo añadido que explica algunas cosas del pasado de Utena. Verdaderamente, ¡esta historia es asombrosa!
Lo que sí debo decir, de momento prefiero el anime, simplemente porque no encuentro una traducción que fluya bien. Pero eso no es culpa de Be-Papas.
Ah, y tengo entendido que Chiho Saito no quería hacer que Utena y Anthy fueran más que amigas, así que habrá que ver eso. Después de todo, la relación amorosa de nuestras queridas protagonistas es la mejor representada en la historia del anime, hasta ahora.

I'm interested and will continue with the series, but this was a bit weird. The fantasy elements are cool, but there's quite a bit of physical abuse, as well as some mild sexual assault. I'm enamoured with the main character.

Contains the prologue and chapter one, which gives us the backstory of how Utena ends up at Ohtori Academy and encompasses her first encounters with the Student Council... including her first duel and her first kiss.
I have to admit, I really like Utena. As a person. She's strong-willed without being a bitch; she's willing to fight, but not eager. Her reactions to her aunt's kiss with the man she thought was her prince sum her up so well - she's emotional but she doesn't let it rule her. She changes her attitude based on new information. And she wants people around her to be happy, even if it hurts her a little. Very much looking forward to the rest!
I have seen some of the anime so I already know this isn't my thing. I do like that Utena challenges conventional gender roles and chauvanistic practices. I just can't get into it.
