Oooof this was a swing and a miss for me. Loved the premise but utterly failed on the execution. It dances around the themes of identity and religion but the writing was so bland and monotonous. I didn’t care at all about anyone and wasn’t invested in the mystery. So disappointing because I was really looking forward to this read.
