Even though I was really confused while reading the first 150 pages I did enjoy it and I'm curious what the sequel brings :)

a bit disappointed here, i had hoped the book to be better.
the first 60% was so slow, and i considered dnf-ing the book. hopefully i didn’t do it, because it became interesting after that, but i found it pretty hard to get into.
after reading more than 70% of it, the book became more and more interesting (but the plot twist, if that were one, was very predictable), and i enjoyed my reading more.

3.5 stars, 3.75 to be more accuarate

The reasons why I didn't give this book a 5-star rating:
1- I have to read all the series first to judge.
2- SLOW-PACED!!

I feel that the synopsis led me slightly astray. I thought Blue was the main character, not one of many alternating ones. I also expected a lot more magic, like in The Secret Circle or something. So I ended up being let a little down. I think the whole issue could have been averted if the synopsis pitched the story a bit differently. Those things being said, I still had fun reading this story, and I want to continue the series.
