I will start off by saying while this book could be read as a standalone. It is the second book in the series and is recommended to read in order.
I personally knew that after reading Charming Your Dad the second book had tall shoes to fill. I am happy to report that the second book did not disappoint. I will say that for a Sarah Blue book, that this is a very slow burn which is funny because you think that the Devil…burning…Hell sorta thing.
I am absolutely in love with Lilith. A stabby FMC who takes a shit from no one… Especially the Devil…so good. And I will say it was definitely a surprising angle to take that Lucifer was a bit mushy. I mean don’t get me wrong. He was definitely an asshole in the beginning but he had such a big heart!
Now the spice…we all know by this point that Sarah writes the best and even though I HATE a slow burn this was so worth it. The sexual tension is there and when it finally happens…FUCKING HOT. There may or may not be a St Andrew,s Cross moment at some point.
