I’ve loved the majority of the Valdemar books, this on is another one of those great ones. All round I loved it, it tackles the aftermaths of their great escape and travailing to find their new home. It was a wonderful read I wish it had been longer.
I did wish we spend more time exploring the strange world as they traveled, and I while I expected the Tayledras to show up. I didn’t expect how involved they would be. It’s fine but i found it made the pay of a bit less.

All in all a great book, can’t wait for the next one

I love Valdemar but this book was terrible. I wish I had skipped it after reading Beyond and gone straight to book 3. Almost nothing happens so you won't miss anything by skipping it and you also won't have to torture yourself by reading this book.  I have never written a review on here and I probably won't again, I just really wanted to say that if you are a Valdemar fan, skip this book. I regret reading it.
