The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America by Richard Rothstein
bngambill's review against another edition

This was a difficult read, mostly because it opened my eyes to how intentionally racist our public policy has been from the very beginning.
I strongly believe everyone, specifically middle- to upper middle- class whites, should read this book.
