The Internet makes irrelevant many of this book's reference features, but in my opinion the analysis makes up for it.
There's a separate section for characters from the shorts, and then each of the features and TV shows are dealt with as their own entities. Depending on which of the incrementally updated editions you get, things get murky as movies and TV from other "satellite" studios in the 90s are included.
The summaries are personal but balanced, with historical context for the particularly long-lived and relevant characters. And for each feature, the critical and popular reception at the time of release is nice.
