Tj Klune is by far one of my favorite authors. He brings life and depths to the world and characters he creates. This book was beautiful in all ways. The way he wrote Arthur made me so happy beyond words. I love this book, and I love this series.

TJ Klune has a way with words that strike you to your core. It is beautiful and gives me some faith in humanity. Some things can be borderline cringey but that's part of the charm.
I thought this book was an excellent followup to House in the Cerulean Sea. It gave me much pleasure to see these characters in play again, as the first novel is one of my favorites.
The one thing I will say that could have been better was the integration of Zoe's backstory. It seemed a bit abrupt with very little foreshadowing. I do love how it carried into the present day and brought a happy end, but the way it first came about felt sudden and a bit confusing.

I think if you have read the first novel and crave that warmth of this family again, you will certainly find it in Somewhere Beyond The Sea.
