Fast-paced thriller with a harsh, unreliable narrator. The fake-out plot twist and the actual plot twist both took me by surprise. I would recommend this to any thriller fan. I did not like how Alice was written as a woman. A bit too pro-cop. The ending was abrupt.

I was really loving this book, the twists and turns of a good mystery. The ending ruined it for me though. That final twist was both unexpected and unwanted.

Fino a tre quarti circa del romanzo ero davvero entusiasta. Poi la storia ha preso una piega totalmente inaspettata che devo ancora digerire. Però l'ho divorato, è scritto piuttosto bene ed è piacevole. Tutto sommato non lo sconsiglierei, ma se cercate un thriller "puro" guardate altrove.
