I was lucky to receive an ARC of Tina Spencer's newest novella, Untamed which is the backstory of Aaron, Dominik, and Tristan.
I completely devoured this novella and could not put it down!
I was excited to learn more about Aaron, Dominik, and Tristan and how their friendship came about because I have always wondered how Tristan fits into the picture.
I have had a love-hate relationship with Aaron ever since reading about him in Dominik and Zoe's story. It was interesting getting a glimpse into his head as he is an interesting character that is for sure! I hope Tina can change my opinion of Aaron when he gets his book.
Tristan took me by surprise, I was not expecting him to be like that and I am unsure what to think. I loved him in Dominik and Zoe's story. It will be interesting to see if I still love him in the next book.
I was nervous about how I would feel reading Dominik's side of the story, but Tina managed to give him a place in the novella without making me want to scream and throw the book away.

I loved get some back story about Aaron and Dominik before the Hudson Yards story in books 1&2.
We get to learn more about Aaron and what he likes.
I really like how Dom stays true to his love even when they are apart.

After reading the Hudson Yards series, I was interested in learning more about Dom, Aaron, and Tristan. This book gave a bit more information about the friendship between Dom and Aaron and an insight into Tristan’s character. It also shows how they met and how their friendship solidified in that one night. That night changed Aaron and that cliffhanger, I know his book will be good. As someone who isn’t into the why choose trope, I did enjoy this novella. It was fast-paced and spicy. Thank you to the author for providing me with an arc of this book. The review is my own opinion.

Tina built perfect tension and while it was very much open door, I didn't feel like it was too over the top (well there was that one scene but the mystery it added was necessary!).
As always it left you wanting more and I feel like I have even more questions than when I began! This was a perfect, very spicy, holiday novella. I can't wait to see what Tina's brain comes out with next!!

There were a ton of SPICY & CUTE quotes in this one but my favorite was Page 92: “Come get your pet. She’s a little tied up at the Christmas tree farm”.
This book was wow. It was an electrifying blend of high stakes, dark intrigue, and blistering spice. Aaron, Tristan, and Dominik's backstory unfolds in ways that are both unexpected and addictive, keeping you hooked from start to finish. The balance between plot and passion is masterful, and Tina doesn't hold back on delivering jaw-dropping moments (the Christmas tree scene is unforgettable!). A must-read for fans of dark romance who crave intensity and depth.
Untamed is a prequel novella to the Hudson Yards series starring none other than our three favorite men. We already know how Dominik and Aaron know each other, but now we get to see how Tristian joined the group. We also get to see a whole different side of Aaron as well and let me just say …. it’ll definitely leave you begging for more. Who knew that one little game of truth or dare would changed the course of their friendships forever.
