Anne of Ingleside

Another lovely episode in Anne Shirley's life story. Anne is now a mother of six and this book introduces us to each of her children and their various scrapes and escapades. Anne and Gilbert are more in the background, but she still feels like Anne to me - grown up, motherly Anne but still with her spirit and kindheartedness. Not my favourite book in the series, but still a very good read.

Anne is older now, has children, and I love it. It's almost like as she grew, I grew.

I think this could be called "Life at Ingleside" because Anne is no longer the central character, but it's delightful like all the other books. I like seeing the little pieces of Anne in all her children and being a party of her sweet life.

I also really enjoyed this one, especially the last two chapters.

زندگی همین بود؛ شادی و غم... امید و وحشت... و تغییر. همیشه تغییر!
