Although it's not my favourite Anne book, I enjoyed reading about the adventures that Anne's children got up to and hearing all the neighbourhood gossip. The main plot point that I was interested in (Anne being worried that Gilbert doesn't love her anymore) wasn't introduced until the very end; I would have preferred to have this come earlier or to have more of a build-up to it.

This one was mostly about Anne’s kids and honestly didn’t interest me much. The last 30 minutes was about Anne and Gilbert’s relationship and I relate and adored that section so much.

This book is such a beautiful next chapter of Anne's story. I love how human she is, and this book shows how she shines even as a mother and a wife. Anne is such an inspiration, and I could never imagine not loving this series, book, or Anne as much as I do. It's a truly thrilling story and is incredibly deserving of being read and loved.
