This book was annoying. Especially the last 100 pages. Go read Love rosie, normal people, or the notebook instead.

I love the way that Claire describes things. She creates vivid pictures and makes you feel deeply along with the characters. But this one was long and drawn out.

It wasn’t a “can’t put down” kind of 5 star. More like a smooth, don’t care how long it is, 5 star. Beautiful piece of work. Only knocked the score down a bit (for now) as the ending few lines didn’t leave me satisfied.

I have nearly cried at every single page of this novel. I am spent but so unbelievebly sated. This might be by favourite book of the year. I just loved it so much. I loved Will and Rosie, I resonated with them so much.
