I haven't read the book since I was in high school and it held up better then I expected. The plot was engaging and I appreciated how the main characters have depth and aren't one-note instantly lovable people
Graphic: Murder, Blood, and Death
Moderate: Alcohol and Sexual assault
Minor: Racism and Drug use

I enjoyed Tithe, but it's important to remember that this book was published in the early 2000s. Most of the characters weren’t particularly likable, except for Roiben and Kaye. The "friendship" between Kaye and the other characters didn’t feel genuine at all. Some scenes were surprisingly strange for a YA book. I liked the romance between Kaye and Roiben, but I wished there had been more of it.
