Bad Science

Ben Goldacre

4.09 AVERAGE

This was closer to a collection of essays than a cohesive book on science and science reporting. It's a good start for introducing critical thinking concepts to science/health news reports.

I agree with everything and yet I still found him incredibly egotistic and condescending

Excellent and fascinating book. Made me question a lot of the things I read on a daily basis in the papers. It took me a while to read as I got bogged down in some of the details in a couple of places but very well written and and interesting read.
funny informative medium-paced

Interesting read, if quite depressing. Neatly surmises the problems I face with patient health beliefs and how they can be exploited by a profit-greedy industry, as well as the issues with Big Pharma as well.
informative

A great book that should be read by everyone but I m afraid those who have read it are the ones who least need to.
