An unlikely story, but a fun read that flows at a good pace. Casimano included a few of my favorite things - a down-on-her-luck writer as the main character, a time sensitive case, a wildcard sidekick, multiple romance options for our main character, and of course, humor. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Estuvo bueno, la protagonista algunas veces me irritaba cuando hacía cosas estupidas sin pensarlo, pero estuvo bueno y entretenido. I like it. ❤️

I have heard about the Finlay Donovan series for a long time now and finally decided to give them a shot and I was not disappointed one bit! Elle Cosimano crafted an exceedingly loveable main character that is hugely relatable, humorous, and, at times, gutsy and willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done. I highly enjoyed the mix of humor, suspense, and drama in this story and am looking forward to reading the rest of Finlay's story in book #2!
