Great thoughts by a great author. It does show that it is from 12 years ago. But still, great

I only read the title essay, which participated to the coining of the term "mansplaining" (although the author detaches herself from the word). It was spot-on.

The examples are dated now, but the point is still the same - and we're still making the same points 10 years later. Not the most eloquent feminist writing but still useful and better than I can express it.

“Woolf’s darkness: embracing the inexplicable” is one of the best essays I have ever read. I know I will come back to it often.

Muy buen libro para pensar lo roles de género.
Me identifique con muchas de las situaciones que relata la autora.

A great collection of essays, both funny and painful.

From the title, I expected a book about 'mansplaning', maybe some memoirs or studies, in fashion similar to 'Lean In'. Instead, I got loose thoughts about contemporary feminism, from femicide and rape culture to hashtag activism. Interesting to look back on after the #MeToo campaign.
