As of press time, I have finished chapter 69, the latest of the Shingeki no Kyojin scan-lated manga available, and with this, I can finally break my Shingeki silence and say something about the whole series.

First of all let's get to the obvious: since season one of the anime has just ended, it will be interesting to see how season two will turn out to be, as the whole manga series runs on an enormous plot but with various side stories and character developments to take care of and consider. Will it be as good as season one? Anybody's guess would be as good as mine.

Another thing, I'm not sure if the live action movie is going to follow the whole season one or at least the first twenty or so chapters of the manga. To be honest, I'm not that excited for the live action as much as I was for Rurouni no Kenshin's. But I hope the film at least gives us a glimpse of how titans appear if they were real.

And so we go to the manga, and as I have said, it runs on one enormous plot, but one that did not bore me. A lot of things are still unanswered, and I like the way Hajime Isayama frames all these answers within the narrative that leads us to the menace of the Reiss family and how Levi, Erwin, and the rest of the Survey Corps are playing a huge part in stopping the extinction of the whole human race.

And having that said, I eagerly wait for the entirety of volume 17. Until then.

So many reveals and it still doesn't make anymore sense.

This volume has me curious to know the history of before the wall. I’m sure only hints will be dropped for a few volumes before any big information is revealed. Oh well! Something to look forward to, I suppose!

Honestly get back to fighting titans already

An amazing volume! Questions were answer and even more questions were raised.

That panel at the end of Mikasa & Historia though? Damn, Mikasa, you’re gonna make her fall in love.
