This was about 200 pages too long for a political thriller. I think I just don’t love political thrillers (which is kind of shocking based on my likes), but if I do like one it has to be tight. This was 500 pages, and dragged.

I can just tell that this is going to be at most 3 stars.  I think political thrillers are probably not my jam, but I do love Louise Penny's writing.  Time to go back to Three Pines for me.
