Compared to some of her other books, this one’s plot builds super slow for the first half of the book but it picks up. I would have liked to have seen less red herrings and more character development in this one. But the story is there and the layered chapters so the job to keep it intriguing. Just an average read though.

This is my least favorite Lisa Jewell book so far (I've now only read 3) but that doesn't mean it's bad.

It was a quick easy read and it kept my interest the whole time. I knew who it was very early on and that almost always bums me out considering I'm terrible at that stuff. Lol.
