A cute and intriguing mystery with lots of humor and excitement thrown in. Would definitely read more in the series, especially as a palate cleanser between more serious books.

Cute cozy mystery. Thought I had such t solved and was surprised at the end. Liked it enough to want the next book.
Reads like a spooky Hallmark movie- cozy vibes and a little mystery. Easy read for the season.

Not a bad free book from iBooks.
I usually hate these “cozy mysteries” because of sheer ridiculousness of laypeople interfering in criminal matters. In this book, that was less of a problem. The witches had the ability to talk to ghosts and therefore had a legitimate leg up on the police. Although, the fact that River was asked to help the investigation was far less believable!
There were quite a few grammar, formatting and continuity errors as well as far too much mentioning of coffee which detracted from the enjoyment but on the whole, it was an enjoyable and atmospheric book!

there was just truly no real plot or character building at all. at least it was a light and quick read?
