le agarré más afecto por leer cada fase a medida q la iba sintiendo. y fue top terminarlo a fin de año sin saber q la última página hablaba sobre el último día del año

The only reason I read this book, was to laugh. I wasn't expecting it to be any better than her first because her first was so terrible. And I was right, we get the same shit of dramatic writing like she's the first person to ever feel or think, but her words are so obvious which makes it dumb.

It just wasn't moving. I was bored and unimpressed. Too many books, too little time.

This is yet another brilliant work of poetry by Rupi Kaur. This work is different from "milk and honey", however, because this work deals heavily on Kaur's individual Indian heritage. She talks about migrant families and migrant mothers and how much they work. She yet again, builds up the strength of women. This may just be a personal preference, but I liked the overall aesthetic of this book more than "milk and honey". This book can be read in one day, but make sure that you reflect on the poetry and relish in this work. Overall, I love Kaur's poetry because it reminds us of the strength women have within in--and the strength that's in all of us.

I can't imagine putting such personal stories and poetry out there for the world to read.
