As far as poetry goes, this was a solid hit for me. It’s been a while since I read a collection of poetry that was profound and relatable enough to illicit any type of reaction from me.

The collection of poems and drawings is so beautiful. I love that it's broken into parts and how each part tells a story. Rupi's poems are so honest and take on difficult topics. It's like reading the diary of a friend. I feel so privileged to have been given a peek into her experience.
