I was expecting this to be a lot more like Woman in the Window, and it just...wasn’t.

I kept this book far from my face the entire time. The character was cringey and slowly slipping into insanity. The story was uncomfortable and I’m sure that was the point. I did, however, find the writing uninspired and bored.

I enjoyed this book, it’s just under 200 pages so it’s a quick read. I was expecting a bit of a different ending though.

Very dark, there is obviously a mental health concern with this main character.  I had a hard time following the plot of this book.  Around 89% in, she does something horrible that resulted in me giving the book 2 stars

I kinda hated this book but I also couldn't stop reading it. It's not a thriller. More like one big character study of a psycho woman. Nothing really happens and the end is pretty anticlimactic. The writing is good and it's a quick read. But the author's second book is definitely better.

This book was less thriller and mystery and more of a deep dive into the female main character's psyche. She had some serious stalker tendencies along with an imagination that would run wild and cross over into fantasy land before you know it. I loved being in the head of this unhinged woman. Although her thoughts were extreme, I felt like everyone could find a way to relate to some of her rants. I flew through this book so quickly. Great writing.
