We meet Kelsey & JP in book one of this series.
Kelsey is an uptight, hardworking, tunnel vision, romance loving women. While JP on the outside is a fun loving, playboy, take nothing seriously kind of guy. When attraction and flirting goes wrong on JPs end, Kelsey is all business. The two are forced to spend two weeks together in San Francisco working on a new Cane brothers project. The forced proximity turns enemies to friends and maybe more..

This book was meh. It took me a good 50% to commit the book. Kelsey was a huge problem for me in this book. I could not connect with her and her terrible treatment of JP was just stomach turning. JP saves this book for me. He was everything. In my opinion he deserved so much more than her.

Meh.... it has cute parts, but I stopped at about 80%. I just couldn't force myself to finish it.

I liked the first one better but I don’t feel like this one deserves 4 stars so I’m saying 4.5. I just got so mad at JP and Kelsey for NOT SIMPLY COMMUNICATING! And there was definitely some manipulation on both ends.

Insufferable MFC, it was a struggle to get through this book because of her. JP deserved better.
