Good set-up of world and introduction of characters. I'm interested to find out how the world and its characters, both main and side-characters, build and flesh out.

The story is very intriguing, I love the character design for Teacher. The art is very dim and murky, which adds to the atmosphere of the story. However, it often makes it difficult to interpret the panels and that is frustrating to me. The dialogue bubbles are less clearly placed than I am used to, and I often did not know which character was speaking. Overall, it’s a difficult story to interpret at times. And that’s not necessarily a negative experience, the art is still very technically well done and the compositions are evocative. This is a story shrouded in mystery, fear, and blurred lines both for the audience and the characters. The unique art drew me in, and I think I will finish this series as it is short-11 volumes-and I am invested in Shiva and Teachers story.
